To be a cornea transplant candidate

You have to go to the hospital and physician with the central competent authority’s approval of performing transplant operation qualification for medical help.

Your ophthalmologist will evaluate your symptom and determine whether you need cornea transplantation or not.

After discussion, your ophthalmologist will help you registered as a candidate on the cornea transplant waiting list of Ministry of Health and Welfare (R.O.C.) Organ Donation and Transplantation Integration System.

When there’s donated corneas, you or your family will be notified based on your order on the waiting list of the system from your hospital staff.
